Treasures in Heaven

(Matthew 6.19-21)

 ³²My little group of disciples, don't be afraid! Your Father wants to give you the kingdom. ³³Sell what you have and give the money to the poor. Make yourselves moneybags that never wear out. Make sure your treasure is safe in heaven, where thieves cannot steal it and moths cannot destroy it. ³⁴Your heart will always be where your treasure is.


I also like The Message (MSG) version cause it use's the word relax, it is easy when I am trying hard to get tense and strive ... being a Christian is about becoming like the water flowing from the Fount of Life. 


This message from God just reassures me that what I have been doing for the last month, giving away most of the possessions, releasing my children back to God, putting God and what I believe his will for me 1st. Is in one of His plans for me, and not some knee jerk psychological reaction to my worldly circumstances.
